Mrs. William Moon
The very many friends of Alderman William Moon deeply sympathize with him in the loss of his wife, who peacefully passed from earth on Sunday. She was but forty-nine years old and had lived in Geneva for many years. She leaves five children and a husband, besides a host of friends to mourn her death. Her remains were taken to Richmond, [McHenry County] Illinois on Tuesday [20 May 1890] for burial, of which place she was formerly a resident.
Note: The place of burial for Margaret, as noted in her obituary, may be incorrect, that being the Richmond Cemetery, in Richmond, McHenry Co., Illinois. This is the cemetery where Margaret's parents and siblings are at rest in the Foster family plot. However, after checking with the people who maintain the records for this cemetery, they claim there is no listing for this Margaret Foster Moon having been buried in this cemetery
