Sandra "Sandy" Gregory was born on September 28, 1950 in Sacramento, California to Virginia Neely Story and William Powell. She was a Registered Nurse and semi-retired. She loved helping others and was a talented poet and writer. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Powell; and a daughter, Tracie Jones. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Gregory of May; her mother, Virginia Neely Story of Rising Star; a sister, Billie Jean Rainbolt of Palestine, Ark.; two daughters, Carolyn Morris of Tulia and Yvette Howard and husband Chris of Joshua; a son, Robert Guthery of Slaton. She raised Tracie's children, Gary Jones of Oklahoma and Sarah Jones of Fort Worth. She is also survived by two step-children, Jeff Gregory and wife Shana of Owens and Jennifer Hanson and husband Martin of Comanche; eight other grandchildren, eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
