She married John H. "Pinky" Clough in January of 1946. He preceded her in death on Feb. 4, 1998.
Surviving are her son: William Jesse Clough of Carrollton, 4 sisters: Sylvia Rochester of Tulsa, OK, Betty Roper of Glendale, AZ, Barbara Rose of Sun City West, AZ and Cynthia Fullerton of Springfield, IL. There are 13 surviving nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister Jean Pritchett and a nephew Danny Pritchett.
Valeria had been employed at Ruckles Pottery in White Hall, later she worked for the State of Illinois Dept. of Human Services as a stenographer. She was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques, sewing and quilting, gardening and cooking. She was a kind and gentle person who will be sadly missed.
Graveside rites will be held on Monday June 9, 2014 at 2 P.M. at the Carrollton City Cemetery.
