Obituary found at Keo-Mah Genealogical Library at Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Mr. John Price died at the hospital in Oskaloosa Sunday, June 22, at 1 a.m., of typhoid fever after three week's illness. Mr. Price was born and raised near Leighton, operating coal mines and had lived here all his life except the last five years when he made Oskaloosa his home. He was an honest, upright, Christian gentleman. He leaves to mourn their loss a wife and three children, mother, four brothers and three sisters, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy.
