Lolitta Baldwin, 82, of Grand Island, died Friday in Payson, Az. Services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Wade officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.

Baldwin was born July 23, 1898, in Ericson to William and Ella Mae Baker Meese. She grew up and was educated in Ericson. On Aug. 24, she married Jennings Bryan Baldwin in Ord and they farmed in Ericson until 1926 when they came to Grand Island. They then moved to council Bluffs from 1934-1974 and after two years in Arvada, Colo, they returned to Grand Island to make their home. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Bryan W. Baldwin of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Ashby of Payson, Az.; two sisters, Mrs. Verna Wescott of Ord and Mrs. Wilma Henrichs of Alda; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one sister.
