TROUT Richard Lytle Trout, Sr. peacefully passed in the home he built for his family July 26, 2012. Born March 20, 1926 to Marie K. and Lytle Blue Trout, Dick graduated North High School 1943, U.S. Navy Radio Man 2nd Class '44-'46, he returned home "to life so abruptly ended" by WW II, and graduated on GI Bill from The Ohio State University 1950 in Business. Richard married Frances Jean Rodgers 3/20/48, and pursued a sales career, opened a Beechwold Toy Store, and was founder/owner Columbus Industries. Father, provider, and fan to his five children, Rick, Deb, Tom, Laurie and Shari and devoted husband to Fran, our Dad was a proud American, a living example of the Greatest Generation. As a 1936 Boy Scout usher at Ohio State Football Stadium, he began his unrivaled support for Buckeye Football. He passes on to his five children, 12 grandkids and eight and 1/2 great-grandkids a love for life, pride of country and Go Bucks cheers for generations to come. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, July 31 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085, where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to HomeReach Hospice, Capital Area Humane Society or Wounded Warriors in Richard L.
