Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Scott Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 6, 2014 from 6 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crowe was born March 25, 1919 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Lex Jackson Justus and Della King Justus. She was retired from Saul's Department Store and was of the Baptist Faith. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, J. S. Latimer, her second husband, Fred A. Crowe, 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
Mrs. Crowe is survived by her sister, Betty Robinson, her two sons & daughters-in-law, Jim & Diana Latimer of Gainesville and Sam & Olga Latimer of Dunwoody, four grandchildren; Lisa & Joe W. Waldrop of Gainesville, Chris & Pam Latimer of Clermont, Sherry & Per Meek of Norcross and Susan & Matt Caseman of Atlanta, great-grandchildren, Justus Venable of Lilburn, Zac Venable of Gainesville, Coby Venable of Atlanta, Malissa, Mariana & Madilyn Latimer, all of Clermont, Ryan & Devin Meek both of Norcross and Charlie & Owen Caseman both of Atlanta, step-children, Barbara Little of Oakwood, Fred Crowe, Jr. of Florida and Donald Crowe of Louisiana, four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
