Services:Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2006 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Visitation:Will be from 6-8 pm Saturday, January 7, 2006 and from 8 am until time of service Sunday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
Funeral services for Bertrice F. “Poppa Bert” Drewett will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 8, 2006 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Bob Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville.

Mr. Drewett, 93, of Alexandria, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2006 in Pontchatrain Health Care.

Mr. Drewett was a truck driver for Truck Lines.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Bonnie Drewett, Nina Drewett and Ella Mae Drewett; his parents, Homer and Hettie Teddlie Drewett, his sisters, Bryda Rousseaux and Vera Hosner; his brothers, Eugene Drewett and Thermon Drewett; his sons, Bertice Drewett, Jr., Kenneth Drewett and Larry Drewett; his daughters, Doris Guidry and Shirley Dorman and stepsons, Charles Hudgens and Jack Hudgens.

Survivors include his sister, Iliene St. Andre of Natchitoches; his brother, J. B. Drewett (Lucy) of North Little Rock, Arkansas; his son, Matt Drewett of New Orleans; his daughter, Linda Treubel (Bruce) of Mandeville; step daughters, Faye Andries of Boyce and Louise Cabler of Hammond; twenty nine grandchildren and thirty three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Saturday, January 7, 2006 and from 8 am until time of service Sunday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville.
