Mary Alice Hales, 80, of Copperas Cove, passed away on May 27, 2014, at a Killeen Hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 30, 2014, at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, Copperas Cove. Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Copperas Cove Church of Christ with burial to follow in Copperas Cove City Cemetery.
Mary was born in Oak Ridge, Louisiana, to the late Albert and Alice Chunn Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Hales Jr.; a son, David Odell Hales; and a brother, Albert Lloyd Jones.
Survivors include her sons, Michael, John, and Mark Hales; six grndchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brothers Edgar, Nelson, Gerald, and Kenneth Jones; sisters, Martha Black, Carolyn Jones, Katherine Compton, and Etta Jones; other relatives and many friends. R15
