He was preceded in death by three children; Sherry G., Gerald L. and Kenneth C. Oaks; one stepson, Craig Plyler (d 10/17/2012 age 48 in an Industrial Accident); two brothers, Milton and Randy; and one sister, Shirley.
Frank is survived by his wife, Violet Plyler Oaks; three sons, Frank W. Oaks, Michael R. Oaks, Gary A. Oaks (Kimberly); one daughter, Mary Ann Oaks Gillett; his stepmother, Joyce Oaks; four stepsons; three brothers, Sam Oaks (Mary), John Drake (Dorothy), Joe Oaks (Rhonda); four sisters, Linda Blake, Kimberly Swope (Joel) and twins, Dixie and Barbara. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
