GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest at her residence on June 3, 2014, Mrs. Bettie Jean Green, wife of the late Col. Charles Eugene Green of Grovetown, Ga. Mrs. Green was the daughter of the late Reuben S. and Laura Jarrell. She graduated from Stephens College in 1947. She was a member of the Freedom Bible Church, Omega PSI Sorority and the Senior Sisters at Stephens College. She was an active and vibrant member and volunteer of the Fort Benning and Fort Gordon Women s Clubs, a life-long bridge player. Bettie leaves behind many family and friends, who will miss her quick wit and zeal for life. Survivors: two sons, Randall Green and wife Nancy, Phillip Green; four grandchildren, Brandon, Rachel, Adam, Jonathan Green.
