Services were held Thursday, June 5, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the True Vine Baptist Church, San Augustine, Texas with the Rev. Orvin Garrett officiating. Funeral under the direction of Garner and Son Mortuary, San Augustine, Texas.
Stephanie was born October 12, 1966 to the late Johnnie B. Garrett and Annie Mae Garrett.
She was a graduate of San Augustine High School, Class of 1985. She received a certificate in business from Massey Business School and worked for Whitton Insurance. She furthered her education and became a C.N.A. and Medication Aide and worked for Twin Lakes Care Center for 13 years until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her memory: Mother: Annie Mae Garrett of San Augustine, Texas Sisters: Lucy Garrett of San Augustine, Texas Lula (Mickii) Garrett of San Augustine, Texas God-Sisters: Mary Ann Holman of San Augustine, Texas Charlene Moody of San Augustine, Texas Beloved God-Brother: Mr. Mark McAlister (Tracy) of Garrison, Texas Several nephews, nieces and other relatives, beloved friends and extended family from Jasper, Texas.
