Mr. Raymond C. Bailey, 57 of Mill Creek, Indiana passed away January 13, 1982 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend following a illness of seven weeks.
He was born March 24, 1924 in Harriman, Tennessee to Thomas and Lillian Raymond Bailey. He lived there until 1954 when he located to Indianapolis. He was employed by Teledyne Casting Service.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mrs. Lillian Raymond Bailey and one brother.
He is survived by his wife Florence Sutton Bailey whom he married January 28, 1944 in Dalton, Georgia. He is also survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Schaible, Mrs. Eloise Sizemore, Mrs. Linda Oyola and Mary Bailey. Five grandchildren, his father Mr. Thomas Bailey of Harriman, Tennessee; four sisters, Mrs. Rosalee Howard and Mrs. Mollie Moore of Harriman, Mrs. Verta Lou Solomon of Oakdale, Tennessee and Mrs. Barbara King of La Porte. Also surviving are two brothers, Mr. Willard Bailey of Harriman and Mr. Warren Bailey of La Porte.
Funeral service was held at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Young officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
