When a young man he became interested in railroading and was employed by the Milwaukee road for 64 years, 52 years of which he served as conductor. Failing health required him to retire a year ago. His run on the Superior Division passed through Chilton and was known to many in this section of the state.
Mr. DuBois married Miss Katherine Dorschel of this city June 6, 1901. They settled in Milwaukee and during many years spent the winter in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Mr. Dubois is survived by his wife and one sister, Mrs. William Smith of San Bernadeno, Calif.
He was a thirty-second degree Mason. He joined the Blue Lodge here and was a member of Lodge No. 154 F.&A.M., Chilton; Island Chapt. 23 Warren Council 13; Palestine Commandary; Wisconsin Consistory and Tripoli Shrine.
Services were held Tuesday evening, at the Voth & Anderson Funeral Home, Milwaukee under the auspices of Excelsior Masonic Lodge. Interment was made in the Hillside cemetery here Wednesday.
