"Larry Don DeBusk, age 66, of Colorado City, passed away Tuesday, June 3rd in Wichita Fallas, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. at Burkett Cemetery on Friday, June 6, 2014. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m.
"Larry Don DeBusk was born on October 24, 1947 in Abilene, Texas to the late L. D. DeBusk and Thelma (Kolb) Anderson. He graduated Coleman High School Class of 1965 and attended Abilene Christian University and graduated in 1969. Mr. DeBusk was raised in the Church of Christ and later attended the Baptist Church in Colorado City. Mr. DeBusk was a business administration teacher for the Colorado City Independent School District for 30 years before retiring and later worked for the City National Bank.
"Larry Don DeBusk is survived by, an aunt, Etta Mae Medcalf of Coleman and numerous cousins and friends.
"He was preceded in death by his parents, L.D. and Thelma DeBusk."
