Joan Watkins age 80, of Kennesaw, GA passed away at her residence June 1, 2014. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Johnson and Rev. Joey Postell officiating. Interment was in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Watkins is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Guy and Vicki, Dane and Vickie, and Doug and Beth Watkins; grandchildren Keely Watkins Hackney, Brandon Watkins, Brianne Watkins Wishon, Jamey Watkins, Jake Watkins, and Julia Watkins; great grandchildren Asa Hackney and Mila Hackney; brothers Tony and David Whitmore. She is preceded in death by her husband Guy Watkins; brothers Jimmy and Charles (Dink) Whitmore; and sisters Betty Godfrey and Pam Williams.
