He died in Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL.

He was a graduate of Bombay High School.

He married Evalena Pickering on Oct. 18, 1945 at St. Joseph's Church in Bombay.

He owned and operated a dairy farm in Rooseveltown and was employed for a time with Aluminum Company of America and Oneida Limited Silver Co., Oneida.

Surviving was his wife; a son, Brian H.; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis P. (Patricia) LaRae; and Mrs. James (Diane) McKee; six grandsons; five brothers, Edward; James; Lloyd; Donald and Hubert; four sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Irene) Sanborn; Mrs. Clark (June) LaShomb; Mrs. Thomas (Margaret) Steen; and Sister Mary Stephen.

Three brothers Ralph, Bernard and Howard, and three sisters, Odena Flynn and Marion and Mary Durant, died before him.
