Frank Joseph Hervol was September 14,1879 in Austria. His parents were John L. Hervol and Marie (Mary) Berlon. His father most likely lived in Austria and his mom in Yugoslavia. Somwhere around the 1890's Frank moved from Austria to Iowa And settled in the town of Enterprise, Iowa. There he met Marie Theresa Simmel. Most people called her Mary. Then on May 18,1908 in Des Moines, Iowa Frank and Marie married. In December of the same year Marie had there first child Frances Mary Hervol. Many children followed afterword. They were Josephine Carolyn, Marie Elizabeth, Aloys Edward, Joseph Michael, Frank Albert, John Henry, Rose Grace, Pauline Angela, Cecilia Ann, and last but not least Martha (Totsie). All whom were born in Texas. Sometime after there last child Martha was born the famiy moved to Deming, New Mexico. There th family would live until the rest of there life. One late afternoon on August 24,1942 Frank was working on Ruebush Farm. There was lots of lightning going on around him. then he was struck by a bolt of lightning. Frank was buried in Mountain View Cemetery In Deming. His wife Marie didn't pass away until February of 1958. Her cause of death was breast cancer. She was buried by Frank.
