*Note: there is an Abner Driggers listed as Pvt. in Company D 12th Battalion Calvary SC Volunteers from Bennettsville/Marlboro SC who enlisted Feb 26 1862. However, no age is given for him. This needs further cross-referencing before including in anyone's family history. Also, this headstone does not indicate whether or not Nancy was Abner's wife, but taking into account the burial custom of the time period, a census record from 1880 in which Abner indicates he is a widower, their respective ages, along with a daughter in the household named Nancy, I've drawn the conclusion that she is indeed his wife. Therefore, I have linked her as such.
