Dorothy Adeline was born to Elmer Michael and Elizabeth Lorraine (Dusek) Kind. Her father was killed in an automobile accident before her birth. Her mother remarried Peter John Finken and he adopted both Dorothy and her brother Elmer George Kind. Dorothy married Ronald Joseph Heimerl on August 29, 1959. Left to mourn her death was her mother; son, Stephen Ronald (Sheri Diane Gadde) Heimerl; daughters, Kristie Susan (David Leo) Grupa and Carol Jean (Robert Jerome) Peterfeso; and brother, Elmer George (Leona Cecila Kinney)Finken. She was preceded in death by her father and step-father. Her funeral was held on March 9, 1998 with burial following the service.
