Velma was born in Rising Star, Texas on November 26, 1918 to the late Wylie and Eula Tune, the middle child of three girls. She married Hollis D. Huddleston in 1943 and lived in Abilene, Texas. He preceded her in death as did her grandson, Douglas Bo Huddleston; two sisters, Bernice and Delma.
Velma is survived by her son, Bill W. Huddleston; her granddaughter, Sydney Huddleston; many close friends.
