Justin Peterson, 24, of Williston, ND, passed away Monday morning, June 2, 2014, at the Mercy Medical Center in Williston.
Justin Melvin Peterson was born in Williston on February 17, 1990. He attended Lewis and Clark Elementary School and graduated from Williston High School with the Class of 2008.
When Justin was three years of age, he was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy. In spite of being in a wheelchair, he still liked going out in the community and visiting. Justin loved spending time with his family and hanging out with friends. Justin had a wonderful sense of humor. He also liked fishing very much.
Music was a big part of Justin's life. He loved heavy metal, and Pantera, FFDP, and Korn were some of his favorite groups. He was able to attend some concerts, was able to meet the members of FFDP and Korn, and go backstage. His favorite song was "Remember Everything" by FFDP.
Justin became very proficient with computers, which he would use to communicate with friends. He stayed in contact with members of both FFDP and Korn, being Facebook friends with them. He also enjoyed his Play Station and would play for hours with friends.
He goes now to be with his mother, Alice Peterson, Grandpa Melvin, and Grandma Bev, where he would want to be.
