A resident of Livingston, she died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Summit Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was 69 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, until funeral service at 11 a.m., conducted by Deacon Pete Schlette. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, corner of Airline Highway and Jefferson Highway. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Smith, Portland, Ore.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Barbara Smith, Fremont, Calif., and Mike and Susan Smith, Baton Rouge; three sisters, Ola Mae Phillips, Linnie Sue Phillips and Mary Jane Aguillard; three brothers, David Phillips, Spokane Wash., Richard and Bo Phillips; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Smith; parents, Farrell C. and Maude Young Phillips; a sister, JoAnn Landry; and brother, Farrell C. Phillips Jr.
