Ruby Mae Daniels, 82, of Hopewell, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014.

Born in Washington, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Doris Waters Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Allie Franklin Daniels; sons, Ronnie, Frankie, Allen Leroy, Jerry Daniels; and daughter, Lara Ann Daniels.

She is survived by her sons, Terry Daniels, Mike Daniels, Stevon Daniels; grandchildren, Aaron Blake, Anneka, Alyce, Alex Leroy, Adam Clay; great-grandson, Bentley; brothers, Murrel, Jordan, Earl Jordan, Lowell Jordan; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014, in Appomattox Cemetery with Mural Worthey officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com.
