Nina Ruth Armstrong, age 84, died at Good Faith Personal Care Home in Snellville, Georgia, on Friday, May 30, 2014.

She was born June 18, 1929, in Booneville, Mississippi, to John Wesley Prince and Gladys Crumby.

Survivors include her sister Mildred Hill, her brother Wayne Prince, and children Roger Melvin Armstrong, Nelda Armstrong Perez, and Debra Armstrong Brigham. Nina was also survived by 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Nina was preceded in death by her husband Refus Melvin Armstrong, her brothers Harold Prince and J. T. Prince, and a sister, Louise Prince Booker.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 4, at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.

Special appreciation to Ward and Donnie Serig, to Nancy McClure for long-term care, to the staff at Good Faith Personal Care Home, and to Halcyon Hospice. Arrangegments entrusted to Eastern Gate Funeral Home.
