Brenda E. Snyder, 67, of 671 Flint Hollow Road, Honey Grove, passed away at 8:29 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014, at her home.
She was born on Nov. 12, 1946, in Port Royal, to the late Lester E. Yohn and Lillian V. (Tasker) Yohn, of Port Royal, who survives.
Brenda is survived by: her husband, David G. Snyder, whom she married on May 9, 1983; her children, Michelle L. Hart and husband, Bryan, of Thompsontown, Mary Beth Goshorn and husband, Donald III, of Arch Rock, and Mindy S. Jones, of Rockville, Md.; two grandchildren, Kyle L. Hart and Megan E. Hart; and one brother, Eugene L. Yohn, of Port Royal.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Hayward.
Mrs. Snyder was a 1964 graduate of Tuscarora Valley High School, Port Royal.
She was a manager at the East Waterford branch of the First National Bank. She also served as the secretary of Tuscarora Valley Heritage Days.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 6. 2014, at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Marsha Bookhamer officiating. Interment will be in the East Waterford Cemetery.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
