Charlene Jeanette Clark, 63, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away at home on Friday, May 30, 2014.
Mrs. Clark was born October 24, 1950 in Turkey Creek, KY, to the late Kellie and Della Music Mills.
On April 30, 1969, she and Joseph A. Clark were married in Elizabeth, NC. He preceded her in death September 24, 2012.
Mrs. Clark was a member of Kerns Chapel, where she loved to go and sing hymns. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also liked sewing, crocheting, shooting guns, deer, squirrel and bear hunting, watching the St. Louis Cardinal and shooting pool.
She is survived by her children; Donna Jo Clark, Joseph Allen Clark II, Colonel Wesley Clark, Melissa Clark, Derek Clark and Wesley Clark; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two sisters: Phyllis Powell and Myrtle Prince.
A daughter, Christine Jeanette Peak; a son, Ronnie Duane Mills; six sisters; and two brothers, also preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Cotrell Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Jun. 6, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, in Bell City. Rev. Jimmy Bruce will be officiating
