Lydia Angela Holt was born in Centerville, Arkansas, to Richard Daniel Bourdeaux "Bardo" Holt (1843 – 1934) and Matilda Elvine "Middie" Jones (1846 – 1917). She married John Hooker Lewis III Nov 8 1894. They had three children together: William Howell Lewis 1895 – 1895, Bennie Luther Lewis 1897 – 1979, Johnny Hooker Lewis Jr 1899 – 1989. John Lewis died in 1899. She then married John Wesley Anderson May 19 1901 and they had one child, Ora Ellen (March 17 1902 - Dec 26 1987). Lydia died in Jan 1903, leaving 10 mo old Ora and her two surviving sons.
