Grace A. Ross, 82 of Oxford passed away on November 17, 2016 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton. She was born on November 16, 2016 in Oxford a daughter of the late Leon and Viola (Whittaker) Simson. On July 3, 1957, she married Donald (Popeye) Ross, who predeceased her on October 10, 2013.

She is survived by her son Timothy Ross and Mary Olmstead; her daughter Peggy Sue and John Carhart; her grandchildren, Andrew and Nicky Head, Rebecca and Joe Barrows, Jennifer Brooks, Matthew Ross and Timothy Ross; her great grandchildren, Jasmine Brooks, Dylan DeMuth, Alexa, James and Braelynn Barrows, and Andrea Head. She was predeceased by her sister, Sara Mae Johnson in 1970.

Grace was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School, Class of 1954. Following graduation, she worked for Norwich Shoe Company, the Oxford Academy and finally at the NYS Veterans Home. She was very dedicated to her family, always the loving wife, mother and grandmother. She provided loving guidance and support to all her family.
