Fulton Times, December 1906
The death of G. Henry Salmon, aged 76, occurred at his home in Buffalo street on Saturday night as the result of a stroke of apoplexy which he suffered on Friday. The deceased was born in Fulton and had resided here all his life, having lived for twenty one years in his late home. Mrs. Salmon preceded him to the spirit land less than a year ago, a strange coincidence being that death came to her form the same disease that caused her husband's death. The deceased was exceedingly well read and was of a genial, social nature, making friends of all with whom he came in relationship, and his demise is sincerely regretted. The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the late home, the Rev. W. L. Sawtelle officiating, and interment was made in Mt. Adnah. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Hector Frasier; three brothers, P.L. and D.B. Salmon of Syracuse and K. F. Salmon of Holland Patent, and one sister, Miss Lucy Salmon, professor of history in Vassar College.
