Lloyd "Ray" James, 82, died Sunday, June 1, 2014. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 4192 Hartley Bridge Road in Macon, with Rev. Al Soles officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road in Macon. Family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Rooks Funeral Home, 109 West White Road in Byron. Born in Bessmer, Alabama, to the late Grover Cleveland James and Jessie Ann Smith James, Mr. James was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. He was retired from the United States Postal Service and the McKesson Corporation. He enjoyed helping at his church and loved to work with his hands. He was truly a "Jack of All Trades."
