Mr. Revels was born in Union County,November 20, 1929; a son of the late Clayton and Janie Hawkins Revels; a retired textile worker; a member of Westside Baptist Church and a Veteran of the Korean War.
Also surviving: daughter, Miss Linda Revels of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Brackins of Pacolet, Mrs. Dorothy Davis of Gaffney, Mrs. Daisy Brown of Fair Forest, and Mrs. Anita Hawkins of New Prospect; one brother, Chalmers Revels of Rock Hill.
Services 4 Thursday at Westside Baptist Church by the Revs. Wayne LaVan and Jimmy Skinner; burial will be in the Rosemont Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Walter Cooper, Dennis Quinn, Ronnie Frost, George Willard, Robert Toney and James Shaw.
Body in the church at 3 p.m.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home.
