Youngest daughter of Mary Abiah (n Johnston) & Dr. Lemuel Lane Gorsuch.
m. Byron N. Lundy 10 Nov 1880.
m. Paul W. Saxton 29 Oct 1890.
"At 9:45 this morning, Mrs. Paul Saxton, wife of one of the clerks at the Burnett House, died suddenly of heart failure at her rooms in the block corner of Superior and Cherry Streets. Mrs. Saxton, who was formerly Mrs. Alice Lundy, was a young woman much esteemed by all who knew her. She had been ailing for a few days, but the idea of death was never dreamed of by herself or friends. Dr. Gorsuch who has been attending her, was called in, but too late to be of any avail. Her distracted husband has the sympathy of his many friends in his bereavement." Toledo Blade, 1 Jan 1891.
She was originally buried as Mrs. Alice Saxton, but was moved by Step-Mother Mary Gorsuch to be buried with her father, 8 Apr 1891, six weeks after his death in 1891.
Recently discovered Public Health Documents, state contrary to the above, she died of accidental Morphine poisoning, and the case given to the coroner's office.
