Wayne Richmond, 76, of Nelson, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was born September 6, 1937 in Kilsyth, WV to Edward G. and Pearline (Kincaid) Richmond. Wayne enjoyed a variety of occupations. He was a true renaissance man, and many people would recognize him as an insurance agent. He enjoyed a close relationship with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a true patriot. Wayne loved hunting, fishing, bowling and being outdoors. He was a hard worker and especially loved time spent with his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Blanche (Estep) Richmond of Nelson; sons, Jeffery Wayne "Jeff" (Tina Fey) of NY, Jay (Sandi) of Garrettsville and Chip (Autumn) of Northfield Center; daughter, Katie Kopf of Buffalo; sister, Patricia Potter of Minneapolis; niece, Karen Potter; and grandchildren, Neal, Jason, Heather, Melanie, Alice, Penelope and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters, Judith Ann and Julie Ann.
