Doyle Peterson was an outstanding athlete in Mount Carmel. Through junior high school he was prominent in every department of athletics and was looked upon as a leading athlete in high school athletics.
Doyle Eldon Peterson was a son of Elmer O. Peterson and Ella Frakes Peterson who reside on south walnut street. he was born May 17 1920 and at death was aged 16years 2 months 11 days. surviving are his parents, Grandparents,Mr and Mrs John Peterson and Grayson Frakes and the following brothers and sisters Edna Dunn, Mt Carmel Ill. Ruby Henson MT Carmel Ill. Mary Brown Princeton Indiana Bobbie Peterson, Mt Carmel Ill. Delores Peterson MT CArmel Ill. and John Peterson MT Crmel Ill.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Church of God in charge of Rev. Arvil Doan and burial will be made in the new Highland Memorial Cemetery
