Opal Pearl Everett Lamping, 76, passed away December 19, 1997, at Saint Mary's Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Opal Pearl Everett, the daughter of the late Vernon and Alice (Richmond) Everett. Opal was born August 29, 1921 in Houghton Heights. Opal married Earl Lamping on January 26, 1942 in Coleman, Michigan; he survives her.
Opal was a member of the Saginaw Shields Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving besides her husband, Earl, are their three sons and a daughter and their spouses, Ronald and Kaye Lamping, San Antonio, Texas; Danny and Elizabeth (Betty) Lamping, Carrollton; Judith and Roger Tyler, Saginaw; Keith and Nora Lamping, Skidway Lake; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
