Mrs Bridges was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Waxahachie where she was a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class, Chancel Choir, and the Lords Acre Quilting Group.
She is survived by 2 sons; John W Bridges and his wife Mary of Waxahachie, Graham W Bridges and his wife Jeanne of Boerne, 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters; Toy Allison and Iris Johnson both of Waxahachie and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5 to 7 PM Saturday evening at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. There will also be a second visitation from 3 to 5 PM Sunday at the Crawford-Crim Funeral Home in Henderson. The Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Monday February 9, 2009 at the Bridges Cemetery in Rusk County under the direction of the Crawford- Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.
