Rita Mae Masters born January 13, 1929 in Halstead, Kansas passed away May 31, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Rita was the youngest of five girls born to Oris and Mae Hinshaw. Rita lived in Kansas with her family until 1952. After graduation Rita became a Registered Nurse. She met and married the love of her life Robert Masters; and together they raised their two daughters in Colorado and later moved to Oklahoma. Rita and Robert were long time Catholic parishioners, often volunteering at the Church. Rita cherished the time she spent with her family; especially her grandchildren. When she wasn't spending time with her family she enjoyed knitting, doing crafts and listening to music especially, big band and Elvis. Rita will be remembered for her caring and thoughtful personality. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Rita is survived by her daughter MaryAnn and her husband Nello Gionta; grandchildren Bethany Jane Kennedy, Robert Michael Grizzle, David John Gionta, Victoria Mae Grizzle; 7 great-great grandchildren; sister Sally Suenmon and numerous nephews and nieces. Rita is preceded in passing by her spouse Robert Roy Masters and daughter and son-in-law Nancy and Gary Dean Grizzle and parents Oris and Mae Hinshaw.
