Earnest Hall Ford passed away Jan.13,2006 after a long illness.Ford graduated from Jack Yates High School,attended TSU and served in the U.S.Army during the Korean War.He worked for 30 years as a LVN at the VA Hospital.Upon retirement he worked at the Herman Park Nursing Home and was active in the Riverside Sportman's Club,Veteran's Sportman Club,the Sunnyside Sportsman's Club,the Yates Alumni class of 47,48,49 and was 2nd Tenor and loved to sing.Survived by his sister and brother-in-law Jeralean and Homer Johnson,aunt Eva Holsey and other relatives and friends.Service Jan.21,206,11 a.m. at Pentecostal Missionary Baptist Church.Burial at Paradise South.
