Stanley 'Wayne' Barnett, 51, of Sumiton died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at UAB Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at New Horizon Memorial Chapel with burial in McCormack Cemetery. Rev. Doug Tate will officiate. New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home is directing.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight, Jan. 13, 2003, at the funeral home.
He was a service manager at Auto Max and formerly employed by Jim Burke Buick and General Automotive in Ensley.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Barnett; sons, Rodney and Chris Barnett of Sumiton; parents, Clay and Ruby Barnett of Forestdale; sisters, Lisa Trice and her husband, Rick of Forestdale and Vicki Victory and her husband, Kyle of Pell City; brother, Steve Barnett and his wife, Paula of Brookside; father and mother-in-law, Gobie and Navaree Fowler of Sumiton; and several nieces and nephews.
