Mrs. Hunter was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church and retired from Birdsong Peanut Company after many years of service. She attended The Oak Street Senior Citizens until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Johnnie Hunter. "Bea" as she was known by her family and friends, will always be remembered by one daughter, Catherine "Kitty" Woodard (C.B), one son, Herbert Hunter and his longtime companion, Vera; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
A homegoing service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2014, Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1071 Carrsville Hwy, Franklin, with the Assistant Pastor, Reverend D.A. Manley delivering the message of comfort; Reverend Alfred D. Brown, Sr. is pastor. The committal and benediction will be in Southview Cemetery.
