Mrs. MARY ALICE BROWN, widow of Charles Edward Brown, died today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Snyder, 921 Frederick Street, aged 67 years. She had been ill with pneumonia for the past two days. She was born and reared near Huyetts, the daughter of William and Mary E. (Johnson) Andrews, and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

She was a past president of the Patriotic Order of America; past president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Rena Post G.A.R.; past Pocohontas, Degree of Pocohontas; past noble grand, Golden Rule Rebekah Lodge.

Besides her daughter she is survived by a sister, Mrs. George G. Schmidt, this city; brothers, William C., Leslie C., and Frederick R. Andrews, all of this city; two grandchildren, Evelyn Kailer and Blaine M. Snyder.

Funeral services were held at the A.K. Coffman Funeral Home; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
