Mrs Lulu Beardsley died at her home in Porter last Thursday evening. She was universally loved by all who knew her
For several years County Commissioner Sam Tood had looked after her business affairs and had given her the same care as though of blood kin.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist church Saturday afternoon which was attended by a large number of friends the little church being a bower of flowers. The service was conducted by Reverend Hoole and the burial was at the Porter cemetery.
She is survived by a son Dorr Beardsley who lives at Pawnee and daughter-in-law Mrs Earl Beardsley and son Robert of Porter
