Denise Mechiele Maddox, 48, of White Plains passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville. She was born Aug. 2,1965, in Hammond, Ind., to Jerry Wayne Lewis and Joyce Dean (Jennings) Lewis. She was a registered nurse, employed by Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville. She loved reading and learning and attending Earlington Assembly of God. Mechiele loved her children, her family and her friends dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Timmy Maddox, one daughter, Tanoa Maddox, one son, Tyler Maddox and her mother, Joyce Dean Lewis, all of White Plains; her father, Jerry Wayne Lewis of Madisonville; one brother, Bryon (Tracy) Lewis of Nortonville; nephews Braxton and Jaden Lewis; and a niece, Ashlie Maddox.
Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, White Plains.
