RAVENSWOOD - Tara Jo Anderson, 19, of Ravenswood, died Friday, Sept. 26, 1997, at home after a long illness. She was a graduate of Ripley High School and a graduate of West Virginia University-Jackson County Center, Ripley.
Surviving: father and stepmother, Rondall and Beth Anderson of Summersville; stepfather and mother, Victor and Swanee DeRito of Ravenswood; sister, Tina Renea Anderson of Kentuck; brother, Ron Anderson of Ravenswood; stepbrother, Mat DeRito of Charlotte, N. C.; half brother, Andrew Anderson of Summersville; paternal grandparents, Johnny and Dorean Anderson of Kenna; maternal grandmother, Ruby Gordon of Kenna. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Ripley Tabernacle with the Rev. Bill Salomon officiating. Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the church. Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, 3901 Briscoe Road, Parkersburg, W. Va. 26101
