Mt. Vernon. The Rev. H. . V. CarraWay and the Rev. Bob May will officiate.
Mrs. Newton died Tuesday at Care Inn Nursing-Home in Sanger. She was born Sept. 9,1883. in Mt. Vernon. where she married. William Harvey Newton in.1901. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include five sons. Aarlon Newton of Sanger, Milton Newton of San Benito. Leland Newton of Ada. Okla.. Mernice Newton of Laredo and Flay Newton of Houston: a daughter: Trudie Isbell of Stamford: a sister. Lizzie Graham. of Pampa: 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Margaret Creecy married Harve Newton on September 24, 1902 in Franklin County, Texas. They had Phelma, Lerah Madie, Arlon, Milton, Trudie, Leland, Mernice, and William Floy. Lerah died in infancy and is buried near her parents. Margaret is the daughter of George and Susan Perrin Creecy. She and William Harvey are buried near her parents.
