Born to Carl and Kathleen (McGill) Henson in West Helena, Ark., she was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, pastel coloring, cooking, watching movies, show and hanging out with her family and friends.
On July 28, 1977, she married Larry Paul Ford, in Arkansas, he preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her mother; and father-in-law, Bill Ford.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Ford and Gary Riley of Marlow; a son and daughter-in-law, Billy Joe “B.J.” and Stephine Ford of Bray; three grandchildren; and her father, Carl Henson of Miss.
Other survivors include three brothers, Carl Henson, Lynn Henson both of Miss, and Wesley Henson of LA; a sister, Paulette Henson of Ark.; a mother-in-law, Jorene Ford of Marlow; and a sister-in-law, Jo Ann Dodd and husband Kenny of Marlow.
Funeral services were held June 8, at Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Meador officiating.
