Nina Abbott Sorensen, age 78, died December 28, 1994 at Orem.
Born March 17, 1916 at Hinckley to William Leon and Nettie Mae Theobald Abbott. Married Kenneth Sorensen March 26, 1934 at Nephi. Later solemnized in Manti LDS Temple. He died September 14, 1990. Oldest of 11 children. Graduated from Hinckley High School. Attended Weber Junior College. Worked in shipyard and airplane plant during World War II. Moved many times living in Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona. 20 year Sears employee. Member LDS Church, serving in Sunday School, Primary, Relief Society and visiting teacher.
Survived by: son, Gene, Orem; daughter, Mrs. Loren (Janet) Klaassen, Redding, California; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, C. L. and Ladd, both Spanish Fork; Verl, Lindon; sisters, Mrs Glen (Ruth) Losee, Delta; Mrs. Clare (Mary Lue) Taylor, Modesto, California.
Funeral services Saturday, December 31, 1994 11 a.m. at Nickle Mortuary, 190 South Center, Delta. Friends call 9:30-10:45 a.m. Burial, Delta Cemetery.
