Mr. Michael Woodruff, age 56, of Royersford, PA passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Pottstown Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Michael was born June 15, 1957 in Columbus, OH son of Helen McDonough Woodruff and the late Donald Gilbert Woodruff, who predeceased him on February 17, 1973. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School, in Broken Arrow, OK, a member of the class of 1975. He graduated from US Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science degree and served in the US Navy Reserve. He served as an officer in the US Merchant Marines from 1979 to 1986 and later was a representative for Express Scripts.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford. Mike enjoyed hunting at his mother's farm near Colley and was avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.

A Transferal Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 9:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Basil's Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cummiskey, PA.
Friends may call at the Homer Funeral Home on Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M and on Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
