JEFFERSON -- Shelly Marie Erwin Sorg, 24, of Pine Bluff AR, was found dead March 25, 1998, at Jefferson AR, from injuries received in a shooting.
She was born on October 30, 1973, at Vicksburg, a daughter of James A. Erwin and Bobbie Lemonds Erwin. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Johnny Erwin and Loins Erwin.
Other survivors include her husband Rodger Dale Sorg; brothers James Erwin, Jr., Robert Erwin, and Edward Erwin, all of Pine Bluff; sister ShaShonee Maria Erwin of Pine Bluff; and grandmother Jean Ratteree of Lake Village AR.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Buie Funeral Home of Rison with James Vines officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery near Rison.

Misty Erwin, her cousin Shelly Sorg and Shelly's children Sean Michael and Taylor Nicole, and family friend Samantha Rhodes were murder victims.
The murderer was executed on May 8, 2001.
